We are still an item - Mampintsha is not giving up on marring Babe Wadumo

The West Link record label owner Mampintsha has allegedly claimed ownership of Babes Wodumo’s success. It has also been said that Mampintsha discovered Babes Wodumo at the age of 17

Following Babes opening up about suffering from abuse in the hands of her long-time boyfriend Mampintsha, it seems that Mampintsha is not willing it give it all up without a fight.

Recapping his recent interview with Metro FM, Mampintsha has not said much apart from the fact that he felt that he and Babes were still an item, saying: “I will never stop loving her…I’m going to marry her.”

Babes Wodumo took to social media to state that, apart from recent reports made against her, she had just been focusing on her recent projects – making no official statement on her alleged relationship and marrying Mampintsha.

“The past couple of months have been extremely hectic but truly amazing because I’ve been conceptualizing and working my first project for 2018,” she said.

viral video of Inkciyo girls dancing with bare bottoms that got people speaking

mixed reactions have beeen drwon by many people after a video showing girls dancing with bare bottoms at a fuction at a function at Walter Sisulu University’s Zamukulungisa Campus

Queen Tina Ndamase of Imbumba Yamakhosikazi Akomkhulu spoke about this after the video went viral on social media, spaeking to daily sun she said "young inkciyo girls don’t go onstage fully clothed and later take off their clothes."

However, what seems to puzzle people is the fact that the dance is said not to be a true reflection of inkciyo.

She also added the attire worn by the young girls from Masimanyane High School during the musical performance competition was no inkciyo attire.

“We remain with the question: was the whole choir pure? It would be wrong for inkciyo girls to be mixed with others that are not.

“Inkciyo youths are separated to protect them. Inkciyo do not show their bums,” she said.

Provincial House of Traditional Leaders chairman, Chief Mwelo Nonkonyana, said the only wrong thing with the video was the person who circulated it on social media.

Nonkonyana said circulating the video humiliated the young girls.

“We’re going to investigate and consult expects, with a view to filing a complaint, because we believe the rights of those girls were violated.

“As traditional leaders we support all programmes that support virginity testing, including the wearing of inkciyo.

“We are just concerned about the negative publicity,” he said.

Education spokesman Malibongwe Mtima said the expression of cultural symbolism differs from one community to the other.

“The community of Ndakana, the school is situated, feels strongly about the restoration of inkciyo.

“We appreciate that there may be issues of appropriateness in the nature and form of the dance, which we believe is the challenge the department still needs to clearly define.

“There are no distinctive guidelines of what should constitute traditional expression during dance routines.”

“Premier Phumulo Masualle saw the video and it shocked him.

“But before we judge the situation, the Education MEC has been instructed to investigate circumstances.”

The South African Federation of Trade Unions (Saftu) plans to attack the Parliament walls with its continued labour Laws war‚they say this law is intended to  turn workers into “slaves”.

with the protests planned for may 30th, thw body has this to say;

“This will be a massive show of strength by workers‚ from all unions and federations‚ members of no union‚ casual workers‚ informal traders‚ the unemployed‚ progressive civil society and all South Africans‚” it said in a statement issued on Thursday.

“We shall be there to demand the scrapping of laws which are not only an attack on the trade unions but on the democratic rights of every South African. They will impose conditions and rules which will make it virtually impossible for trade unions to organise protected strikes‚ even after all attempts to reach a negotiated settlement have reached deadlock.”

The union‚ spearheaded by ex-Cosatu boss Zwelinzima Vavi‚ said the laws would shift the balance of power even further over to employers.

“It effectively bans workers from exercising their constitutional right to strike and will turn them into slaves. The time has come to fight back‚” the union said.

It was also to demand that a minimum wage of R12‚500 a month - “demanded by the Marikana martyrs” - be introduced.

“We are also determined to continue the fight against the poverty national minimal wage of R20‚ R18‚ R15 and R11 an hour. In this‚ the world’s most unequal society‚ it is an outrage that the billionaire bosses of big business‚ and their representatives on the ANC benches in Parliament expect workers to be able to live on a wage that even the president himself concedes is not a living wage‚” the union said.

“This is class warfare It is a life-and-death struggle to defend workers’ rights. It is a battle we cannot afford to lose‚” the statement ended.

(pics) Momant an Elephant is captured on camera chasing a starving lion

Upsetting photographs show how one of Kruger’s National Park, South Africa’s most famous lions has grown old and sick.

The Lion, known as Skybed Scar, used to lead a pride but has now been pushed out from the protection and food his family used to provide.

Photographer Larry Anthony Pannell, 64, watched him for hours saying he knew he was ‘witnessing something very special – the real nature both life and death’. The elderly lion was being chased by an elephant and appeared weak and starving.

Larry, from California, US, said:

‘Life can be very cruel and to be honest during my career I have seen people lose everything in landslides, earthquakes and fires.

I have photographed automobile accidents with grave injuries. ‘I do not think any photograph or photo sequence affected me as much as witnessing the death of the lion. ‘I sat with him only feet away, locking eyes and starting at one another as I watched for an hour as the life leave his body. I wanted him to know he would not die alone.

Not wanting to sound crass I remember when my grandmother was in the hospital and I visited her for the last time the night she passed. ‘We did not say a word, both of us just knew this was the end and we just stared at each other locking eyes. ‘This is the first time since then that I felt the same feeling – connecting with another being on a spiritual level, just knowing.’

Punishing coaches who complain about referees won't help

It's about time football authorities rethink their strategy of dealing with poor refereeing, rather than trying to silence those who dare speak about it.

Over the years, the PSL's disciplinary committee has been handing out heavy fines and match suspensions, especially to coaches who have voiced their frustration with the men in the middle. It was no different this week.

Platinum Stars coach Roger de Sa felt referee Victor Gomes could have done better in their 2-1 loss to Maritzburg United at Harry Gwala Stadium on February 23.

He was charged with misconduct arising from an altercation with Gomes while questioning some of his decisions, as well as for a post-match interview conducted while he was suspended.

Both the club as well as De Sa were found guilty. The club was fined R200000, of which R100000 was suspended for 24 months.

'I'm not violent but if you dare touch me‚ I'll show you flames' - Zodwa

Zodwa Wabantu remains unapologetic over an altercation between her and an unknown woman who threw a drink at her over the weekend.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE on Tuesday after the video of her wig snatching altercation went viral; Zodwa said all she was doing was defending herself when a woman disrespected her.

"I’m just glad there was a video that showed everything that happened unlike the other one-sided videos I’ve seen before. Look‚ I didn’t klap or hit anyone. If you look at the video‚ who is displaying violent behaviour? I am not violent but if you touch me then that’s when you’ll see flames. I could have done worse if I was violent. But I won’t even defend myself to say I am not a violent person. People can say whatever they want to say about me but if you touch me‚ as in physically‚ I’ll respond accordingly."

Zodwa also said she isn't a bully and that she's actually been a victim of bullying but had found a way to deal with it without using violence.

She said most of the time she chose the "high road" however sometimes people went too far.
